LONG TIME OF NO POST! HERE IS NEWS!

anyway so its been a great week and month here in carrollton and the best mission in the history of life.
updates:
1. my knee has gotten better and has been healing real well as i have gone to physical therapy. 2 more weeks and ill be back to normal.
2. i am still in the same area and continue to be. i have been here for 7 months and i probably will end my mission here. i have 64 days and i will be home starting school and working. i am all set ready to go.
3. my brother has received his mission call and i got to Skype in to the opening of it. he is going to the New York Utica mission. he will be on the east coast like i am. it is great! we got to chat for a little bit. he had asked me what advice i could give him and i talked his ear off. I'm exited another simons kid is going on the lords errand.
4. one of the members in this ward that i have watched grow as he hit his year mark as a member. he will be serving a mission starting November 18 and we get to send him off. its going to be exciting. he is serving in the Eugene Oregon mission. he is pumped. now we just need to find a new ward mission leader. he is the youngest ward mission leader i have ever had. age 24.
5. i got a new look because i need to get glasses do anything now. but its good i enjoy my new glasses. it makes me look like Im smart and i know what im talking about.
6. for the longest time in this ward we had a hard time keeping investigators in our teaching pool and suddenly the baptisms have been rolling in this ward. we have a diverse ward because we don't have language missionaries for some languages such as urdo, yuraba, and many African languages. then there is india languages and we just started a new language in our mission called amharic and they find many people from Ethiopia.

Things have been great in the best mission in the history of life! Our mission president is the best we were at the mission home the other day doing a family home evening cauz we do one every so often and we had a blast with our recent converts. he always tells every one in our mission "living the dream" or "CharlieMike"(meaning continue the mission(military term)) its been great and the lord has been great to us here in carrollton with his children in this area. esspecially being during football season because people are to busy being focused on the redskins or the ravens because we have the redskin stadium in our area. but we continue to work hard and to keep ourselfs going even though there is times i gets frustrated and almost gives ups at the end but continue to work hard. heavenly father continues to bless us and to lift us up in times of need(ether 12:27). anyway halloween was great. and thanksgiving is coming up then christmas then i will be home. im excited for christmas though. i love christmas the work is amazing. the christmas missionary initiative. everyone wants to know about christ!
anyway my time is short but these are my up to date news.
