sorry its so late
Hey Family & Friends! its wonderful in the great parts of the ghetto! i keep busy here, there is so much to do here i dont have much time spare time but at lunch or dinner! thanks for those that have sent letters to me. if i havent got back to yours im sorry im still cantching up from my birthday cards.
being out here in the ghetto has really brought more appreciation to what i have and do! anacostia is such a great place to learn that even though i feel bad for those out here in poverty. its always hard to see heavenly fathers children in poverty! i always tell people " every sacrifice you make brings a blessing around the corner". Remember that no matter what trials you go through you will have happiness in the end!
so in the mission right now we have a challenge to read the book of mormon and we are to read 4 pages a day and we started this 7 weeks ago so we are moving along and bringing ourselfs unto christ as we bring the people of the washington dc north mission area unto christ.
anyway so i told my mission president that i want to stay in the ghetto till next year. if my mom tells you she wants me out of the ghetto tell her its a learning experiance. she over worries to much. anyway but its great being away from home for a while i learn from not relying on the nest or money that way or anything like that im learning for myself in the real world. even thought i pretty much lived away from home during the week with my grandpa in provo and came just for the weekends to my parents house. but yeah im enjoying. the mission has changed me allot. for me a mission is vacation from home but doing something i love! i enjoy the pdays but at the sme time i enjoy helping gods children in the washington dc north mission area!
i want to thank the tarwaters for sending out the newsletter. i always like hearing about the other missionaries in the ward. and how the wards doing! i wwant to thank thos young men and young woman that have either sent letters or gifts i really appreciate them allot it allways makes my day! i cant wait to see who else goes on a mission in the ward! im exited for elder skinner, elder belk, and sister chisholm that just went out! i wish them luck and am glad they choose to go on a mission! it will change their lifes as it has for all of us that have been out on missions so far!
so im short on time to finish this for the ward newsletter but i want to invite you guys if you are wondering how im doing to check my blog out at everydayamissionary.blogspot. com and 2nd to try to invite the missionaries ovver for a meal and get to know them. for those that have missionaries out alwways hope their kids are well fed. well its your guys turn to return the favor and feed the missionaries and see how you can help them out in their area as a ward or even as member missionaries. give it a try you will be blessed for it! aand if you feel extra generous try to do it once a month or make a goal for it! gget to know the missionaries in the ward/stake and let them get to know you. your experiances or situations or just stories might help them find someone to relate to their investigator so they have someone to fellowship the iinvestigator. help them out a little bit!
well i wish you luck and love you all have a great week!
have any questions? my infos on my blog on the left!
